Big Island Resorts In Hawaii

The volcanic activity on Hawaii has created black sand beaches.

Hawaii is a chain of islands that have been produced and are continually growing because of volcanic activity. Hawaii's biggest island is the most southern and eastern of all the Hawaiian islands and has been appropriately nicknamed Hawaii's Big Island. It has an area of 4,028 square miles or 10,432 square kilometers, it is bigger than all the other islands combined and is also America's largest island. Hawaii's main source of income is based in tourism with resorts primarily spread along the western coast of the island.
