Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor is a site of great historical importance in American history, and you can visit it on the island of Oahu. The most popular attraction at this historic navy base is the USS Arizona Memorial, which allows you to view the sunken remains of the battleship that sank during the Japanese attack on the base on December 7, 1941. Besides the memorial, you can also tour a submarine, battleship, and aviation museum. The total cost to see everything at Pearl Harbor is about 40 dollars per person.

The Ocean

Hawaii offers visitors pristine beaches and crisp warm waters, so enjoying the ocean is a must for many visitors. Snorkeling and enthusiasts won't want to miss Molokini, a small island just off the coast of the island of Maui. This area is a state wildlife preserve, and swimmers find themselves sharing the water with more than 250 different species of fish. If kicking back on the beach is more your style, you''ll be pleased to know that each island offers fantastic beaches for oceanside relaxation. Some of the best are Lanikai Beach on Oahu, Hapuna Beach on Hawaii (the Big Island), and Kapalua Beach on Maui.

Volcanoes
