80th Birthday Party Favors Idea

People who reach their 80th birthday wlll have seen and done quite a bit. Because of this, you want to make an 80th birthday an event that is special not just to the birthday party guest of honor, but also to the other guests attending. Does this Spark an idea?

Framed Photograph

At the beginning of the party, take a digital photograph of the guest of honor. During the course of the party, make prints of this photograph. Frame these photos and give them to party guests as they leave. In the years to come, particularly after your guest of honor has passed away, this party favor will be treasured by the party guests.

A Poem or Other Reading

Often 80th birthdays are times when the party goers will reflect on the life of the guest of honor. During the party, a family member may read recollections, trivia or a poem that reminds them of the guest of honor or her life. Party guests may appreciate a printed copy of this reading as a keepsake.

Dinner Party Recipes

If your party guest of honor has lived in several places throughout her life, then a dinner party with selections from each of the places in which they lived may be a good choice for a gathering. For example, if the guest of honor lived in Maine, Kentucky, Michigan and New Mexico, then a dinner that features chips and red pepper salsa, Kentucky hot browns, lobster and blueberry cobbler may make a unique experience. For this type of event, collect the recipes together and present each guest with a copy as they leave.
