Cute Homemade Disney Halloween Costume Ideas For A Teenage Girl

Dressing up as a Disney character isn't reserved for little kids. Teenage girls can find cute costume ideas from their favorite Disney movies. They can create a modern take on a classic Disney character or uncover a long-forgotten character. Even better, many of these costumes ideas can be put together with just a few basic elements.

Miss Piggy

The Muppets are one of Disney's oldest creations, and teen girls can find a fabulous and humorous costume by dressing up as Miss Piggy. Pick up a pig's nose and ears at your local costume shop. Pair them with your most glamorous evening gown - an old prom dress would work - and white gloves. Curl your blonde tresses or wear a long, blonde wig, along with a full face of makeup.

Pocahontas

Celebrate the 1995 Disney film "Pocahontas" by dressing up as the character of the same name. Find a short tan dress, or if you have a mom who has some sewing skills, she can make one for you. Wear a headband around your forehead with feathers poking out of the back. Wear your hair down. Add some brown sandals, and your look is complete.

Cinderella

Dress up as Cinderella, but with a modern, age-appropriate twist. Swap that baby blue ballgown for a knee-length dress in the same shade. Pair the dress with your favorite high heels. Wear your hair up, and place a blue ribbon around your updo. Wear soft makeup and classic jewelry like pearl earrings and a pearl necklace. You'll be a modern-day princess in this costume.

Bambi

If you're an animal lover, dress up as the always-cute Bambi. Wear brown leggings and a fitted, brown long-sleeved T-shirt. Find a pair of brown animal ears at your local costume shop to wear, and pin your hair up around the ears. Paint your nose black with some face paint. Use eyeliner or brown face paint to draw some brown freckles on your face for extra cuteness.
