Great parties don't end without loot bags, especially for kids. They look forward to party bags filled with candy and toys. However, filling these bags can be too burdensome in terms of finances. Homemade
Make your own party bags using the materials you already have at home. For example, if you have scrapbook supplies you're not using anymore, recycle them by turning them into party bags, which you can fill with goodies for guests to take home. Fill the party bags with homemade things. Bake cookies or brownies, or create your own toys using clay, paint and buttons. Be creative and give yourself an adequate amount of time to complete the party big fillers before the party.
Free and Bulk
Do away with chocolates and matchbox toys. Keep the bags interesting for the kids by looking for items that will keep their owners entertained for more than a few minutes. Keep the party alive even after the guests have gone home by slipping in notes about where the party pictures have been uploaded online. For a themed party, find affordable items which come in bulk. For example, put whistles and baseball choco balls in the party bags for a baseball-themed party. Personalize it by printing the name of the guest on a sticker shaped like a baseball and use it to seal the party bag.
Small Treats
Smaller party bags are easier to fill. Consider the amount of goodies you will have to put in a bag before you purchase it. A small party bag is filled with around five sweets, a notepad and a pencil. This will do for a small party held at home. If you have extra pieces of candy or treats, put more pieces in every bag to fill it well. If you need to fill a bigger party bag, don't be afraid to do things differently. Get cardboard picture frames and buy them in bulk for a more affordable deal. Include a note with the URL of the photo album containing the party pictures. Give instructions on how their pictures can be printed and placed in the frame.
