Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort


Located on the Fiji island of Vanua Levu, Jean-Michel Cousteau's Fiji Resort makes a great destination for nature lovers. The resort has a marine biologist on staff and offers two age-appropriate kids clubs, at no extra charge, which keep children busy in educational, cultural and fun activities from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Family packages include all meals and access to the four swimming pools, tennis courts and three off-site snorkeling excursions with complimentary snorkeling equipment. Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji


Situated on Fiji's Coral Coast, the kid-friendly Outrigger on the Lagoon offers plenty of activities and reasonable pricing. Rates start at $222 per night for a family four with one king bed, sleeper sofa and all meals included.(Prices current as of February 2010.) The 40-acre resort has white sand beaches, spa, kids club, tennis clubs, jet ski rentals, kayaking and snorkeling with complimentary gear. Turtle Island Resort


Leave the kids at home for this one. The Turtle Island Resort, located on Fiji's Nanuya Levu Island, only allows children under 11 at Christmas and for a short period in July. Called by Frommer's "the most picturesque setting of any resort on Fiji," Turtle Island offers 14 private "bures" (bungalows) starting at $1,765 per couple, per night. (Prices current as of February 2010.) The hefty price tag comes with all meals, private spa tubs, complimentary kayaks for each bure and private dining (optional) on a pontoon boat or beachside.
