Fruit Kabobs

A fruit kabob is a finger food that is easy to pick up and eat. Cut up fruits such as strawberries, melons, pineapples, bananas, peaches and a variety of apples. Add some orange and tangerine slices to your fruits instead of cutting them. Stick the fruit onto the kabob stick, adding a variety to each stick. Place kabobs on a plate with a small vanilla pudding or yogurt bowl next to it for dipping.

Fruit Plate

Cut off the skin of your fruit, such as melons, pineapples and cantaloupe. Slice in half and cut thin slices to stack on the outside of your tray. Add sliced apples, mango, kiwi, peaches and bananas, building in toward the center of the tray. Add grapes to the middle of the tray. Place dipping sauces such as caramel or whipped cream next to the plate for those with a sweet tooth, or add cinnamon for them to sprinkle.

Fiesta Fruit Plate

Make a fruit plate of tropical fruit, such as pineapples, oranges, mangoes, bananas, kiwi, papaya, peaches and tangelos. Peel away the rind, cut the fruit in half and slice into strips. Arrange on the plate by grouping each fruit into its own section like a wedge of pie. Add a bowl of cut limes and a spice bottle of chili powder for those who like their fruit with a little more punch.
