Camps In Wasaga Beach Ontario

There are several camps in Wasaga Beach.


Wasaga Beach is located in Ontario, which is a province within Canada. It is a town that is part of Simcoe County, on Nottawasaga Bay. The city of Toronto is approximately 2 hours away. Wasaga is a well-known vacation destination in Ontario year-round because of its vast freshwater beach and recreational activities such as swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, biking and hiking. If you are planning to camp in Wasaga Beach, there are several campgrounds in town from which to choose.


Gateway Camping


Gateway Camping is a family oriented Wasaga Beach campground that has a quiet and clean atmosphere. Gateway Camping is full of trees and grass and is comprised of 60 sites in total, with full RV hookups.


All of the sites are equipped with sewers, 30-amp electric service and town water. Of the sites, 12 are seasonal and 48 are overnight sites. Other features that are available within the campground include a heated swimming pool for guest use, restroom facilities, fire pits and tent sites.


The campground is a brief stroll to the town's bustling beach, as well as many different shops and restaurants.

Jell-E-Bean Campground


Jell-E-Bean Campground is a picturesque Wasaga Beach campground that features ample shaded trees. Jell-E-Bean Campground is situated on Wasaga Beach's west end, steps away from the beach. The seasonal campground is open between the months of May and October every year. Both temporary and seasonal rates are available.


All of the sites come with conveniences such as sewer and water hookups, as well as electricity. Other highlights of the family friendly campground include indoor shower and restroom facilities, guest laundry, an on-site convenience store, fire pits, an outdoor swimming pool, and a spacious picnic section. There also are family recreational activities such as arcade games, barbecues, bingo, hay rides, horseshoes, volleyball and movie nights for children.

Sunshine Park Campgrounds


Sunshine Park Campgrounds is a singles-only campground located in Wasaga Beach. Sunshine Park Campgrounds is a youthful camp that has a laid-back and casual ambiance.


Some of the features that are available include restroom and shower facilities, soda vending machines, ice, large basketball and volleyball courts and weekend music trucks for entertainment.


The camp offers 205 sites. It is a seasonal campground that is open between the Canadian holiday of Victoria Day (which falls on May 24 or 25) to Labor Day every year. Advanced reservations for sites can be booked.

Morest Campground


Morest Campground is a wooded and cozy campground situated within Wasaga Beach. Morest Campground has a convenient location in the heart of the town and provides quick access to many of the town's shopping and dining options.


The campground consists of 95 sites, all of which are overnight sites that come with sewer and water hookups. The sites also have 15-amp electric service. The campground is open between the months of May and September every year.


Other benefits include separate singles and family sections, fire pits, a heated swimming pool, a playground for children, clean restroom and shower facilities, tent sites and cottages.
