Miles of sandy beach make Muskegon a popular Michigan destination.
Muskegon, on the Lake Michigan shore of central Michigan, is home to Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Water Park. Miles of sandy beach are open to the public in the Muskegon State Park for swimming, water sports and beach combing. Tour the USS Silversides, a World War II submarine, or take in the Muskegon Museum of Art, the Muskegon County Museum and the Gillette Nature Center at the PJ Hoffmaster State Park. Hiking, biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing trails are available at both state parks.
PJ Hoffmaster State Park
