The full-facility campground at the park is located on the shores of Old Hickory Lake and offers 72 campsites suitable for tents, trailers and RVs no larger than 40 feet long. Campsites feature a paved patio with shaded yard, 50-amp service, access to water, a picnic table and fire pit with grill. The campground provides bathrooms and shower houses, a communal dump station and lakeside picnic areas. Campground guests can take advantage of six miles of hiking and nature trails, a boat ramp, three playgrounds, horseshoe pits, a baseball diamond, sand volleyball court and lakeside fishing areas. The campground is pet-friendly and is open year-round. The closest restaurants are located within 15 minutes of the campground in central Gallatin.

Cages Bend Campground
The Cages Bend Campground is located on Old Hickory Lake in southwestern Gallatin. The campground is nestled directly on the lake shore and offers 43 campsites suitable for tents, trailers and RVs as large as big rigs. Campsites feature a paved driveway with shaded lawn, 30- and 50-amp service, access to water, a picnic table and fire ring. The campground provides bathrooms and shower houses, a coin-operated laundry facility, a communal dump station, boat launch, children's playground, lakeside fishing, picnic shelter and wildlife-viewing areas. The campground is pet-friendly and is open year-round. The closest restaurants are located more than 10 minutes away, north and south along State Route 6.

Shady Cove Campground
The Shady Cove Campground is located in Castalian Springs, just east of Gallatin. The campground is located on the Bledsoe Creek embankment of the Old Hickory Lake Reservoir and offers 97 campsites suitable for tents, trailers and RVs as large as big rigs. Campsites feature a gravel patio with shaded lawn, 30- and 50-amp service, access to water, sewer hookups, cable television access, wireless Internet, a picnic table and fire ring with grill. The campground provides bathrooms and shower houses, a marina with boat docks, private boat launch, a heated outdoor swimming pool and sundeck, an outdoor Tiki bar, bait shop and grocery store, propane services and lakeside fishing. Guests can also rent canoes, pontoons and paddle boats from the marina. The campground is pet-friendly and is open year-round. Guests can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant. The closest off-site restaurants are located about 15 minutes away in central Gallatin.
