Christian Easter Party Goody Bag Ideas

Kid's love Easter! For many, Easter is not only a religious holiday but a holiday that introduces the beginning of spring, depending on where they live. Children love to color eggs, hide them and then find them again. They also love their Easter baskets and all of the fun and yummy things that come inside of them. If you are throwing an Easter party for young children, give them a goodie bag full of things that represent the reason of the holiday - the Savior, Jesus Christ. Does this Spark an idea?

Activity Game Books, Stories and Games

There are many Christian children's activity game books, filled with word searches, crossword puzzles and dot-to-dot games. These can be purchased online or at bookstores such as Barnes and Noble and Borders. These books keep children busy in the car, while waiting for a doctor's appointment or on a rainy day at home. There are also children's stories that focus on Christian principles and come in board books, for the younger children, and there are also stories that come on CDs, which are great for long road trips. There are also many games available to help teach children about Christian values, such as Bible Trivia and Bible Blurt board game (which also comes as a card game).

Toys and Puzzles

There are many different toys and puzzles that can go inside a goodie bag. Stuffed animals, tinker toys such as key chains and ink stamps with crosses, or games such as marbles or pick-up sticks are good options. There are also puzzles that have a Christian picture on them, which go well with the Easter theme. You can also personalize your goodie bags between the girls and boys. For the girls, you can give them small tiaras, play jewelry and pink play dough. For the little boys, you can give them a nerf ball or a small lego set so they can build fun things from imagination.

Easter Treats

Children love candy, especially at Easter. They also love eggs. Put the two together and you have conquered two things at the same time. Fill plastic Easter eggs with jelly beans and other fun Easter goodies. Toss in a chocolate Easter bunny along with a marshmallow peep, and the yummy side of your goodie bag is complete. If you do not want to give the children a lot of sugar, give them something more simple, such as a sugar cookie shaped like an egg or bunny. Or give them a popcorn ball, wrapped in pastel-colored cellophane. But whatever it is you decide to do as far as the Easter treat for your goodie bags, don't forget the grass.
