Games To Play On A Date

On a date you want to get to know someone better and have an enjoyable time. Sometimes the typical movie and dinner can be boring. Here are some great one-on-one games to play that will set the stage for learning more about the other person, flirting and fun.

Getting to Know You

There are lots of games you can play to get to know your date better. Trivial Pursuit will let you know what subjects your date knows a lot about. Checkers, Boggle and Scrabble can be a light-hearted competition of brainpower. Card games like War, Rummy and Black Jack are quick and easy. Personal games, such as 24 Questions, help you learn about your date. Any game that you play will give you insight into how your date deals with life, because you'll see how he thinks, competes and deals with losing.

Romantic

There are some great games to play that border between the innocent get-acquainted games and intimate, romantic games for when you are ready to take your relationship to the next level. Video games allow you to cuddle a bit on the couch without the emphasis being on sex. Doing jigsaw puzzles also requires you and your date to be in close quarters.

Action Games

These games are innocent enough to play on a first date but the competition and adrenaline rush can be great foreplay for a more advanced relationship. No matter what stage of the relationship, these games set the stage for flirting and give you a little exercise: air hockey, pool, one-on-one basketball, tennis, darts and ping-pong.
