Give each girl a pretty notebook and pen.
Guests at children's birthday parties often receive party favors to take home with them. Most often, the favors are given in gift bags as the children leave the party. Sometimes the favors match the theme of the party; other times, they are gender-specific, meaning that party favors for the girls will be different than those given to the boys. Does this Spark an idea?
Jewelry and Dress-up
Most girls love costume jewelry. Give the girls some long, glittering strands of Mardi Gras beads, large fake rings, jingling golden bracelets and sparkly earrings in their gift bags. Extend the dress-up theme even further by including feather boas, nail polish, and play make-up as well. Think about the girls' ages. Leave out the long strands of beads if the girls are toddlers, as they could wrap around a toddler's neck and serve as a choking hazard. If the girls are older, such as preteen or teenagers, upgrade the jewelry. One pretty silver bangle bracelet is more attractive to older girls than a bunch of cheap plastic beads.
Candy
Candy is probably the most popular party favor for both boys and girls. Make candy favors girl-centric, by choosing candy that will appeal to the feminine side. Candy "lipstick", heart-shaped candies, chocolate candies in a tiny purse and other "girl"-themed treats will put a smile on the guests' faces. Again, think of their ages. For toddler girls, do not give gum, hard or chewy candy or anything else that will pose a choking risk. Older girls may appreciate gum or mints more than novelty candy.
Notepaper and Pens
Most girls love to write notes to each other. Indulge the girls' inner authors by giving them each a pretty little notebook and matching pen. Choose notebooks in creative shapes, such as hearts or stars, or ones that have "girly" covers such as glitter or pictures of cute kittens. Make sure the pens are equally as interesting. For example, metallic gold pens or pens that write in bright neon colors are usually popular with girls. For very young girls, such as toddlers or preschoolers, try giving them boxes of big crayons instead. Older girls, such as those in their teens, might better appreciate a journal with a classic cloth or leather cover.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are just as good as money, and it is more than likely that the girls will be thrilled to receive one. Give each girl a $5 gift card to a popular ice-cream shop or novelty store. Choose the prettiest gift cards you can find, and attach a tiny bow to each one to make them even more attractive. Toddler or preschool-aged girls will probably not understand the concept of a gift card, so consider choosing a small stuffed animal or doll instead.
