College Graduation Party Centerpiece Ideas

Graduation is a very exciting time and deserves a big celebration.

As any graduate knows, it takes a lot of work to get that diploma. After putting in so much effort, a celebration is truly in order. Planning the perfect party for your beloved graduate requires a lot of effort as well. Here are some tips to make creating that perfect centerpiece a breeze and something your guests will surely remember. Does this Spark an idea?

Photo Centerpieces

Framed pictures of the graduate make a fun table centerpiece and keep your grad at the center of it all. These look great by themselves or placed around some flowers, balloons or even graduation caps. You may choose to have nicer, professional pictures of your child displayed, or candid shots taken by yourself or friends that show highlights from the schooling experience.

An Interactive Centerpiece

Put something in the middle of the table that your guests can have some fun with. Have disposable cameras on the table so guests can help to capture the memories from the party. Or have pages from a memory book with pictures of your grad with extra space for those in attendance to write a little note or some of their favorite memories. Compile the pages later.

Have a School Theme

Mini diplomas scattered around a vase of flowers are a simple and inexpensive graduation party decoration. Or choose a theme for the decorations based on the grad's major or subject of study. For example, if they went to law school, have scales of justice; use cut-out musical notes for music majors.
