Baby Shower Games For Kids

Baby Shower Games for Kids

A baby shower is an event that can be enjoyed by other moms, dads, friends, family and even kids, in addition to the mother-to-be. If you do decide to have kids at the baby shower, there are several different games and activities that'll help include them in the festivities. Depending on the ages and gender of the children coming to the baby shower, you may need to tailor your games your specific guests. Does this Spark an idea?

Taste Test

Have the kids sit in chairs or on the floor, and place a blindfold over their eyes. Have several different types of baby food available, and have each of the kids do a taste test. Start with one flavor, and have all of the kids try the same flavor at the same time. Then, ask the kids what flavor they think the food is. Repeat this with four to six different flavors. The child who has the most correct guesses wins a prize.

Baby Photo Guessing Game

Ask each child to bring a baby photo of themselves to the party. Place each of the photos on a poster board with a number (1, 2, 3, etc.). Then have each child's name on a separate poster board with a letter next to it (A, B, C, etc.) Have the children try to match up everyone's names with the photos on the poster boards. Be sure to tell the kids not to point out their own pictures.

Pin the Diaper on the Baby

This game uses a cardboard cut-out of a baby, and a cloth diaper with sticky tape attached to it. Place a blindfold on a child, spin them around in a circle several times, and have them try and find the baby cut-out to "pin" the diaper on it. Everyone in the room can all join in and try to give them directions on where to find the baby.
