Bring the beach party indoors to the office.
Keep the sand out of your toes and hair by throwing an indoor office beach party, complete with games. An office beach party consists of employees dressing up in their beach attire, partaking in the festivities and decorating the office to resemble a beach. Separate an area, away from the food, where partygoers can set up festive games to play during the office party.
Limbo
Everybody loves to limbo, especially when the Beach Boys are playing the background. Set up a limbo line by purchasing a limbo stick or using a broom or mop handle to set between cubicles, chairs or have two people hold the stick. Start the limbo by holding the stick high so people can easy bend under it without any issue. Once everyone goes under the stick, lower it to make the game more challenging. Keep lowering the stick until there is one last person able to get under it.
Beach Volleyball
Set up beach volleyball in the office. Blow up an oversized balloon. Do not use helium because the balloon will need to fall to the ground. Set up a net between cubicles or between two tall chairs and divide people into two separate groups. Place the groups on either side of the net and toss the balloon in the middle. The object is to hit the balloon back and forth without letting it hit the floor.
Hula Hoop Contest
Purchase hula hoops from a retailer -- they're sometimes even available in dollar stores -- and have a hula contest with the employees. Play Hawaiian music as the office employees swivel their hips to keep the hula hoops up and spinning. Once the hula hoop hits the floor the employee is out of the contest. Keep going until there is only one person left hula hooping.
Shell Hunt
Bring the shells from the beach to the office for a shell hunt. Talk with the boss of the office and ask if you can throw in an incentive to whoever finds the "golden" shell. The incentive could be a long, paid lunch or to leave work early one day while receiving pay. Purchase medium size shells and one large, or specially colored, shell from a craft supply store. Hide the shells around the office. Inform the employees before the hunt that the large/special shell contains a special incentive from the boss. Set a time limit and let the employees run around to find the hidden shells.
