Barbie Sleepover Game Ideas

Barbie Sleepover Game Ideas

Many young girls love to play with Barbies and pretend as if they are living as fun and as exciting a life as Barbie or one of her friends. If your daughter is obsessed with Barbie, planning a Barbie sleepover filled with fun games could be the ideal way to make her birthday party extra special this year. With the right friends and fun activities, she will feel like a princess all night long. Does this Spark an idea?

Barbie Tiara Fun

Provide plain tiaras purchased from your local craft stores along with all kinds of jewels and sparkles that the girls can put on their tiaras. For extra style, include Barbie stickers that can be used to add an extra special feel to the tiaras.

Barbie Fashion Show

Ask each child to choose her favorite Barbie and then provide a chest of dress-up clothes. Each girl is charged with the task of finding the clothes in the dress-up chest that look most like her favorite Barbie outfit. The girls can put on their outfits and put on a fashion show for you and the rest of the family.

Barbie Coloring Contest

Print off Barbie coloring sheets from the Internet and give each girl a box of crayons. Display the pictures around the room and give each girl a prize for finishing her creation.

Barbie Pinata

Purchase a Barbie pinata from your local party store and fill it with your daughter's favorite candy. Blindfold one girl at a time, spin her around and have her try to break into the pinata. When the pinata breaks, the kids can rush to gather as much candy as possible.

Pass the Barbie

With the kids in a circle, play Barbie theme music in the background. Give one girl a Barbie doll and have her pass it to the person next to her. The girls pass the doll as quickly as they can and you stop the music every 30 seconds. Whoever is holding the Barbie doll when the music stops is out of the game. The last girl remaining is the winner.

Pin the Tiara on the Barbie

Pin a large picture of Barbie on the wall and then print out a picture of a tiara. Blindfold the girls and have them try to pin the tiara on Barbie's head. The girl who pins the tiara in the proper place wins.

Barbie Beauty Shop

Barbie loves to get dressed up and put on makeup. Provide children's makeup and let the girls have fun trying to put it on each other. You will need a camera to photograph the before and after results of their fun.

Barbie Movie Marathon

Once the girls start getting tired, allow them to watch Barbie movies and television shows until they drop off to dreamland. Put the titles of all the movies and shows you have into a hat and ask each girl to draw a title with her eyes closed to determine what will be watched for the evening.
