Baby Shower Centerpiece Ideas

Place a centerpiece on each table at the shower.

Baby shower decorations usually include a lot of different types of decor such as balloons, streamers, signs and coordinated disposable dinnerware. One decoration that should not be overlooked is the centerpiece for the table. From edible displays to floral arrangements, explore your centerpiece options while planning a baby shower. Does this Spark an idea?

Baby Face Cupcake Centerpiece

Create a baby face cupcake centerpiece for the food table at the shower you are planning. Purchase a cupcake stand at a party center and set it at the center of the table. Bake and decorate enough cupcakes to fill the stand. Decorate each cupcake with skin toned icing and add facial features and hair with decorating icing in other colors. Insert a candy pacifier into the mouth for each baby face.

Baby Block Centerpiece

Make a tower of baby blocks for a toy-themed centerpiece. Place several layers of baby blocks at the center, making each layer slightly smaller than the next for a pyramid arrangement. Use wooden or plastic baby blocks that the baby can use as toys eventually so that they do not go to waste. To add a bit of sparkle to the arrangement, dump a bag of metallic confetti or glitter over the tower and allow it to land on and around the arrangement on the table.

Floral Arrangement

Make a floral arrangement that fits in with the baby shower theme. Stand six to 10 baby bottles in a circular layer on the center of a table and use a large rubber band to hold them together. Wrap a ribbon around the rubber band to cover it in a decorative way. Fill each bottle halfway with fresh water and insert fresh cut flowers to make an arrangement. Use flowers with longer stems toward the center of the arrangement and shorter ones on the outside edges to create a graduated look.
