Disney Epcot Resorts

The Epcot theme park in Walt Disney World features futuristic architecture, including the iconic Spaceship Earth. The resorts at Epcot offer immediate access to swimming activities in Crescent Lake and Barefoot Bay. Epcot's resorts not only have on-site dining, but also are within walking distance of restaurants in the World Showcase area, which includes Italian, Chinese and Moroccan eateries. Other areas of Walt Disney World are accessible from Epcot's resorts via the monorail or public bus transportation.

Beach Club Resort

The Beach Club Resort is a throwback to a 19th century beachside resort in New England, as seen in the hotel's d cor which consists of seashells, wicker furniture and beach umbrellas. One of the resort's primary attractions is Stormalong Bay, a three-acre water park with a large swimming pool, private beaches, lazy river ride and shipwrecked boat structure that is used as a playhouse. The resort has three restaurants, which include casual fare at the Cape May Cafe and Captain's Grille, and fine dining at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Guest suites with living rooms and private balconies offering views of Stormalong Bay or Crescent Lake are available.

Caribbean Beach Resort

The Caribbean Beach Resort on the shores of Epcot's 45-acre Barefoot Bay offers a tropical-themed ambiance with palm trees on the private beach and pastel colors on the hotel's exterior. Guests can rent a boat for the lake or take advantage of the resort's 1.5-mile bicycle trail, which runs parallel to the lake. In the middle of the lake, guests can enjoy picnicking activities on Parrot's Cay, which is connected to the mainland by bridges. On-site dining is available at the food court in Old Port Royale, which also has an outdoor swimming pool and tropical birds flying around the complex. The pirate rooms features maritime d cor and bedding shaped like a pirate's ship.

World Swan and Dolphin Resort

The World Swan and Dolphin Resort has been rated as a four-diamond accommodation by AAA, and is split into two hotel buildings. The resort features five 18-hole golf courses, including the Magnolia Golf Course, which hosts the annual PGA Tour's National Car Rental Golf Classic. Other resort features include the Mandara Spa--which offers massages and body treatments--four lighted tennis courts, five swimming pools, a private beach on Crescent Lake and upscale shopping at Lamont's and Galleria Sottil. Among the resort's 17 restaurants is the Il Mulino New York Trattoria, a New York-themed Italian eatery that has an elegant atmosphere and only serves dinner. The resort's Presidential Suites have grand pianos, living rooms, dining rooms and private balconies with views of Epcot's attractions. All guest rooms have sitting areas and marine-themed d cor.
